It's Been A While...

Well, this is embarrassing.

It's been almost a month now.

Life gets busy, ya know? Sometimes you just don't have time to be blogging about your whole life. It's such a tedious work, this whole blogging thing.

I'll try better from now on!

Alright, time to fill y'all in. Here are the biggest things that have happened. Enjoy :)

First of all, school is coming to a close, which means I have almost made it to SuMmEr BrEaK! But that also means that my ward is coming to a close, which means I only have a limited time left with a whole bunch of people here. This is such a bitter-sweet time! I'm definitely looking forward to changing things up, moving on, and making new friends, but I'm also very sad to leave the people whom I have become so close with this year. I had such an awesome Freshman experience, and couldn't imagine anything different now that it's almost over. It's been great! But time for something new, I suppose.

One of the people that I'm really going to miss is this guy:

Oh, maybe I should fill you in, in case you haven't heard. Austin is my boyfriend! Silly me, thinking I wouldn't have a boyfriend until after my Freshman year. Well, sometimes life takes a different direction than you plan, and you end up with a great guy like Austin!

We've become really close (best friends, actually) this semester and last, and I'm really lucky to have him! We have so much fun together. He always make me laugh and I always feel safe when I'm with him. Life's just good when I'm with Austin :)

Unfortunately, I have to say goodbye to him, too, at the end of the semester. He'll be going on his mIsSiOn! He's going to be a great missionary. I wish I didn't have to say goodbye to him so soon, but I am so happy that he's serving a mission. I'll miss ya, Austin!

Alright, let's see. What else is new in my life...

Well, this doesn't really count for my life necessarily, but I figure that since Ali has posted about it on her Facebook, I can probably tell it to the blogging world. Ali's having a baby!!! I got these in the mail around Valentine's Day:

Congratulations, Ali and Jed! I am so happy for you guys :)

Speaking of family, my dad came into town this week! I was so glad to see him. I love that guy :) Thanks for visiting us, daddio! I love you so much!

I had my first job interview on Wednesday! I interviewed at a place called J Dawgs, which is right next to where I'll be living for the next year. The interview went great, I think! I really really hope I get that job. That'd be the best thing ever!

That morning, I went to the TeMpLe. I love the temple! I know that through going to the temple, Heavenly Father can bless you very much. Not only did my interview go exceptionally well that day, but I also got a 95% on my stats test, which I thought I was going to fail! Temples are great. Need I say more? :)

This weekend is General Conference! And not only do I get to go to one session of conference, but TWO! This is going to be great. I love the church. I know it's true! I cannot wait to hear from men and women who receive direct revelation from Heavenly Father. They always know exactly what to say, not only for the good of the world, but for me personally. If you aren't planning on watching it, please change your mind. It's SO worth your time, I promise.

Check it out HERE!

Welp, that's about it for big things going on in my life. Most of the time I'm hanging out with Austin, and I love that. If I think of anything else special, I'll add it to tha post :) Hope you're having a splendid day! And hey, if you're reading this and we haven't talked in a while, give me a ring-a-ling-ding! Or just leave a comment, whichever you prefer ;)

New Camera Anyone?

Life is so good!

Today has been fabulous. I love me my Sundays! Especially the ones where I don't need to worry about homework... Ohhh yeahhhh.

Thursday 3.1.12
I GOT A NEW CAMERA!!
I love love love this thing! Thank you mommy and daddy :)

However, SOME aren't so appreciative of the new investment... (*cough* BRECK *cough*)

But I love it :D Here are some pictures that I took the first day that I had it! This thing can do some pretty awesome things!

Also, Austin and I had a little photo shoot outside in front of the mountains. Most of the pictures didn't work out... so here are just a few of them:

That night was ward prayer. It's always fun and games in our ward!

I had another long night finishing art projects... Luckily Lauren was willing to help. Thank you so much Lauren!! We got a little loopy since it was so late, so hopefully that explains the pictures. If it doesn't, well, I have no other explanation for their weirdness.

Friday 3.2.12
Friday was very very uneventful. I only got a couple pictures. I am not even going to give you a run-down of my day because I am honestly embarrassed about how much time I wasted (after 5 hours of classes, of course). Speaking of classes, Breck came to Garret and my stats class on Friday! What a treat!

That night, Lauren, Alice and I watched Titanic. Somehow none of us cried... I have no idea how that happened. But it was Lauren's first time seeing it and she really liked it! Wahoo! And that was my night. Night and relaxing :)

Saturday 3.3.12
Lauren and I had a nice lunch at the Cannon on Saturday :)

As you can tell, I had definitely just woken up :/
I probably spent too long watching youtube videos and tv shows on Saturday... Like way too long. But I did get some homework done at least. Then that night I had SUCH a fun time roller skating with Austin! We decided to try out a roller rink in Orem, and had a great time! My feet kinda hurt by the end of the night, but I would totally recommend it to anyone :) I ended up leaving my camera in the car, so we only got one picture that night and it's on his phone. I'll put it up here ASAP!

Sunday 3.4.12
Today was great. Church was amazing. I felt the Spirit so strongly in every one of my meetings. And I even bore my testimony at the pulpit in Sacrament Meeting! Sarah gave an awesome lesson in Relief Society about finding joy in the journey. I got up and bore my testimony at the end of that too... Sorry if you were totally sick of me by the end of the day, girls! Also, shout out to Chloe who also bore her testimony. It was so great! We all started crying. She is an amazing person.

After church, Hannah and I took a nap outside on the grass because it was such a beautiful day. However, some noobs on the third floor of Budge apparently have nothing better to do with their lives than throw old food down on sleeping girls below. Maturity at its best!

Then I went to dinner, and a little while later Austin and I went to the fireside that Quentin L. Cook gave (well we actually watched the broadcast of it on tv at the Marriott Center). It was a fantastic talk! And yes, I did stay awake through the whole thing! I don't know if I can say that much about Austin... :P

We tried to get just one good picture. Just one. But no, that wasn't working for us. Here's the best one, I guess...

Also, I wrote a letter to my little brother :) I love you Jeff!

And here are some vids from the night:

Time for bed! Goodnight mis amigos!
